Which snacking packaging for which product?

A burger needs a box that stays upright and does not collapse under steam. The kraft cardboard Burger Boxes, with either a white or kraft inner coating, are manufactured in France and cover everything from standard burger formats to long sandwich formats.

Hot sandwiches, paninis and croque-monsieur go on the grill: the packaging must be heat-resistant or suitable for going into the grill with the product. Cold sandwiches and club sandwiches are better presented in windowed sleeves, allowing the product to be seen without being handled.

For fries, churros and nuggets, the cone remains the standard solution: grease-resistant cardboard in white or newspaper print, and greaseproof kraft pots for larger portions. One point to know before ordering: cardboard and wooden cones are not suitable for liquids. Only the flexible paper cone is waterproof, making it suitable for drinks and ice cream.

Packaging suitable for the grill and oven

Karman pouches come with a napkin already inserted at the top: one less movement per order and fewer forgotten napkins during busy periods. Kraft wrapping sheets are packed in a recycled cardboard dispenser box, avoiding the pile of sheets that tends to blow around on the work surface.

There is still one familiar problem: hot sandwiches becoming soggy in their wrapping. Greaseproof kraft paper allows moisture to escape instead of trapping it against the bread. For products intended to be consumed quickly, the window box provides the same benefit, provided it is used for same-day sales.

Materials, recyclability and customisation

Kraft cardboard and greaseproof paper make up most of the category. Almost all references are recyclable, and the PlanetScore© displayed on each product page, rated from A to E, makes it possible to compare two similar-looking packaging solutions. Wooden cones and the stainless steel taco holder complete the range, with the latter being washable and rated A.

A significant proportion of the range can be customised with your colours. In street food, packaging leaves the establishment and travels from hand to hand: it is one of the most affordable advertising tools available to you.
