PE film provides a leak-proof seal for paperboard containers

Paperboard alone cannot hold either broth or vinaigrette. It is the PE film applied to the inside that keeps liquids and grease contained: Pokebowl containers combine kraft paperboard and PE, multi-purpose containers use paperboard and PE, and Puro containers can hold liquids and fatty foods for the same reason.

This film does have a downside. Paperboard and plastic do not go through the same recycling stream, and only some of these containers are recyclable. None of them can be washed and reused either: whenever a container needs to come back to your premises and be used again, the solution is the washable Boko and Bokotwist glass jars, which are compatible with a deposit-return system, or more broadly, the reusable range.

When empty, Puro and Pokebowl containers can be stacked, reducing the amount of storage space needed between services.

Pokebowl is microwave-safe, Puro is for chilled foods

Two kraft containers can look alike and still have different uses.

The Pokebowl range comes in five sizes, from an individual bowl to a large sharing model, and is suitable for freezing and microwave use.

The multi-purpose containers can be hot-filled with liquids up to 100°C, for consumption within the hour.

Puro containers are designed for cold preparations: mixed salads, raw vegetables and cut fruit.

One lid for two ranges of paperboard containers

The 23 and 47 cl Puro containers each have their own raised, transparent lid, and the same model works with both the kraft and black versions. You can change the look of your service without changing the closure.

These lids are raised for a specific reason: they allow several filled bowls to be stacked safely. The paperboard itself hides the contents, while the transparent lid makes the topping visible at the counter. When the preparation needs to be visible from top to bottom, the transparent, screw-top Twist Bodega and Kosmo are the disposable-container options.

For Pokebowl and Puro containers, the lid is sold separately. Multi-purpose containers, on the other hand, come with their lid.

The bowl of the day, meal salad and buffet

A lunchtime service does not fill all five Pokebowl sizes in the same way. The 50 cl size works for starters or desserts, the 1.3 L size is designed for sharing dishes, while the intermediate sizes cover the bowl of the day and meal salads for takeaway.

Bloom Lily takes a different approach: a folding box designed by Michealle Renee Lee, inspired by flowers and origami. It is sold in packs of 100, enough to dress a buffet or reception without having to order a full production run.
