PE Film Makes Cardboard Containers Leak-Resistant

Cardboard alone cannot hold broth or vinaigrette. It is the PE film applied to the inside that prevents liquids and grease from leaking through: Pokebowl containers combine kraft paperboard and PE, multi-purpose containers combine cardboard and PE, and Puro containers hold liquids and greasy foods for the same reason.

This film also has a drawback. Cardboard and plastic do not follow the same recycling stream, and only some of these containers are recyclable. None of them can be washed and reused either: whenever a container needs to come back to your premises and be used again, the suitable options are Boko and Bokotwist glass jars, which can be washed and used within a deposit-return system, or more broadly the reusable range.

When empty, Puro and Pokebowl containers can be stacked, which helps reduce the storage space required between services.

Pokebowl Is Microwave-Safe, Puro Is Designed for Cold Foods

Two kraft containers can look similar without having the same properties.

Pokebowl containers, available in five sizes from individual bowls to large sharing formats, are suitable for freezing and microwave use.

Multi-purpose containers can be filled with hot liquids up to 100°C, for consumption within the hour.

Puro containers are designed for cold preparations: mixed salads, raw vegetables and cut fruit.

One Lid for Two Ranges of Cardboard Containers

The 23 cl and 47 cl Puro containers each have their own transparent, raised lid, and the same lid model fits both the kraft and black versions. You can change the colour of your presentation without changing the closure.

These lids are raised for a specific reason: they allow several filled bowls to be stacked safely. The cardboard itself hides the contents, while the transparent lid makes the food visible at the counter. When the preparation needs to be visible from top to bottom, the Twist Bodega and Kosmo, transparent screw-top containers, are part of the disposable container range.

For Pokebowl and Puro containers, the lid is sold separately. The multi-purpose containers, on the other hand, come with their own lid.

Bowl of the Day, Meal Salad and Buffet Service

A lunchtime service does not use all five Pokebowl sizes in the same way. The 50 cl size is suitable for a starter or dessert, the 1.3 L size for a sharing dish, while the intermediate sizes cover the bowl of the day and meal salads for takeaway.
