How to choose the right disposable cutlery

Bamboo cutlery is available in two ranges. The Premium range features a food-safe coating that makes it more durable, while the Eco range keeps the bamboo natural with a clean, simple design. Knife, fork and spoon are available in both ranges.

If you are looking for a natural finish, take a look at the wooden cutlery: birch wood, with no coating or surface treatment. The Retro range works well on a meal tray or at a country-style reception. The Madera remains straight and simple, with no decorative effect.

Bagasse keeps things simple: knife, fork and spoon, nothing more. PS is used for the Luxor kits, available in glossy black or transparent, which can be washed and reused. And when serving fries in a tray or a Buddha bowl, the shorter Starck fork is more than sufficient.

For seated service, stainless steel cutlery is still an option.

What does a 4/1 or 6/1 kit contain?

The 3/1 kit includes the three pieces of cutlery. The 4/1 adds a napkin. The 6/1 also includes salt and pepper.

The Madera kit comes in a kraft paper pouch, while the bagasse kits follow the same format.

If you prefer to create your own combinations, cutlery and kits can also be ordered in bulk, with one hundred pieces of each item.

Mini cutlery and picks for cocktails

The Indo and Micra mini cutlery sets come as a pair: each fork has a matching spoon, made from the same bamboo and available in the same colour. The Indo has two prongs, making it suitable for picking up an olive or cherry tomato; the Micra has three. The Indo can be reused.

With the Gaffel, you do not have to choose between cutlery and a pick: it is thin enough to do both. When the bite is at the bottom of a tall container, the Pincho can reach it.

The Trident offers a better grip than a stick, which matters as soon as the bite has a little weight to it. As for the wooden mini fork-spoon, it does both jobs at once, whether for a sweet verrine or a cone of fries.

These mini cutlery pieces and tongs are ideal companions for verrines. On a buffet, serving tongs can pick up a pastry, while sushi tongs hold a maki securely thanks to their grooved ends.

Sticks, from decoration to service identification

The slate stick features a small painted wooden slate. You can write culinary or dietary information on it, allowing guests to know what they are choosing before they pick it up.

The Ring range is available in two lengths and ten colours, and the two sizes can be combined. This makes it easy to distinguish one bite from another on the same tray.

For the rest, choose according to the occasion: a wooden bead on the Pearl stick, black and natural bamboo on the twisted stick, or a French flag for national and sporting celebrations. Sticks account for a significant part of the event catering range.

Disposable or reusable cutlery?

Luxor kits can be washed and reused, as can the Indo mini cutlery. You can find them all in the reusable cutlery selection. The rest is intended for single use, and only a small proportion is recyclable.

For takeaway service, the single-use kit remains the simplest option. For seated service, washable cutlery becomes more economical over the course of several events.
