Disposable verrines: what can go in the oven and what cannot?

The Bodeglass in bagasse is suitable for the oven, microwave and freezer. The other ranges do not offer the same level of versatility, and compatibility should be checked reference by reference:

• Palm leaf cups and ramekins: oven, microwave and freezer
• Oveo in PP: microwave and freezer
• Mini/Maxiglass and Barok in PS: freezer only

Polystyrene cannot be used in either the oven or microwave. This is rarely an issue: mousse, tartare and panna cotta are usually prepared and served cold. The palm leaf material is untreated, supplied in its natural leaf sheath without additives, and is waterproof, with a natural plant-based appearance that plastic cannot reproduce.

The Kova is also available in kraft cardboard, while the mini Bodeglass is available in white cardboard. These cardboard verrines conceal the preparation rather than displaying it, which can be useful when the recipe is not particularly photogenic.

Flat lids, dome lids and transport supports

Compatible lids for the 22 and 30 cl verrines are available in a flat version.

The Perla closes with a lid featuring three micro-perforations: the anti-fog effect keeps salads and pastries clearly visible beneath the plastic. For even more convenient tasting, this lid is also available in an open version. The Giro remains upright and can also be fitted with a lid, allowing you to prepare the verrines the day before and keep them closed until service.

A single PET lid fits both the 18 cl Loop and the 12 cl Bodeglass in bagasse, despite their different materials, and the closed verrines can be stacked. The Loop also comes with a support that keeps it upright on a tray or in a container. When the portion is sold to the customer as takeaway, this lid is no longer optional.

From the 3 cl mini verrine to the 45 cl cup

The 3 cl Lova features a raised spoon-shaped edge, while the Kubo, in the same capacity, has a frosted square design. At this size, the disposable verrine is designed for a single bite and no cutlery is required.

The Kova retains its flared shape from 6 to 22 cl: you can change the portion size without changing the overall look of the buffet. The Miniglass, meanwhile, features four horizontal grooves on its 6 cl format.

Above that, the Bodeglass stacks from 17 to 45 cl and moves beyond the appetiser format to salads, desserts of the day or takeaway portions.

Cups and ramekins are suitable for preparations that do not require much height, particularly sauces and condiments: the square Cubik in PS, or the white Santo, made from 70% bagasse and 30% wood fibre. This combination provides greater rigidity to support more generous preparations. Presentation spoons do not require a container: the black Senso is manufactured in France and can withstand temperatures from -20 to +70 °C.

The 5 cl Chupito is inspired by the traditional shot glass, while the Delistick attaches to a display stand and creates a fun cocktail presentation.

These disposable verrines can be washed and reused

Cubik, Loop and Oveo do not necessarily end up in the bin after service: they can be washed, reused and then recycled at the end of their useful life. They are among the reusable containers in the catalogue, alongside certain Kova and Bodeglass verrines designed for multiple uses.

Neither bamboo nor ceramic products are disposable: bamboo and ceramic verrines return to the dishwasher after every service and are not thrown away.
